The Plainview Library is hosting two free showings of the Canadian film "Incendies," a story of twins who journey to the Middle East searching for their roots.

1.The hosts two free showings of the Canadian film: "Incendies," with Lubna Azabal, Melissa Desormeaux-Poulin & Remy Girard. In French, Arabic & English, subtitled, 130 minutes. Showings are at   3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

2. The Plainview-Old Bethpage meets this morning at the at 7:45 a.m. Small business loans are on the agenda. We'll have a video report later today.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
