Turkey & Trimmings Drive Wednesday

The is hosting a “Turkey and Trimmings” collection to benefit Island Harvest on Wednesday.

And a frozen turkey donation gets you a voucher for a ticket to an Islanders game.

Plainview residents and all of Long Island will be able to donate frozen turkeys and non-perishable holiday dry goods to help the 250,000 hunger stricken families across Long Island, organizers said.

Every person who donates a frozen turkey will receive a free voucher for a ticket to a New York Islanders game. The frozen turkeys must be donated to the main branch located at 899 South Oyster Bay Road in Bethpage, just across the Plainview line.

All Bethpage Federal Credit Union branches will be open for all donations, however.
