Y JCC's Wellness Walk Draws Lots of Support

An array of public officials attended the Mid-Island Y-JCC's annual P.O.B./CARES/Project PACE walk

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Joseph G. Pinto, far left and Councilwoman Rebecca Alesia, far right, attended the Mid-Island Y-JCC’s annual P.O.B. CARES/Project PACE Wellness Walk.

The 2.5 mile walk raises funds to supports seniors in the Plainview and Old Bethpage communities through their services and resources.

The wellness walk was held at the Y-JCC in Plainview and was well attended. 
Among those on hand, and pictured here from left are Pinto, Plainview Water Commissioner Andrew Bader, Executive Director of the Mid-Island Y-JCC Rick Lewis, Director of Adult Services Laura Weissberger, Project Director Robyn Berman, Volunteer Marty Plawsky, Volunteer Coordinator Harriet Blatt, Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs, District Court Judge Rhonda Fischer, volunteer Marsha Elowsky, and Alesia.
