A Zumba event in Plainview today is slated to raise money for the Susan G Komen Foundation, organizers said.
his hosting a "Party in Pink" Saturday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m. The guest leader of the Zumba class is Melina Arnberg, Zumba instructor of Bet U Can Dance Studio of East Northport.
A $15 donation benefits the Komen Foundation, which promotes breast cancer awareness and provides support for people fighting the disease
Carolyn's DANCENTER, located at 1163 Old Country Road, Plainview, offers classes for children through adults; beginner through advanced in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theater, Pre-School/Creative Movement, Mommy and Me and more. The center also has fitness classes such as Zumba, Jazzercise, Pilates and Gyrotonics. There are also classes for children with special needs.
