Holiday to Interrupt Week; Will Mystery Smell Be Contained?

These are the big stories we're following in the week ahead in Plainview.

The week ahead includes the New Year's holiday on Wednesday and the ongoing probe into what caused the stench reported by so many people beginning Christmas night.

5. The National Weather Service week-long models indicate a major storm, perhaps with heavy snow, could smash into the East Coast around Thursday. The forecast for Plainview is a wintry mix of freezing rain and snow, beginning sometime early Thursday and continuing into Friday.
