Nassau County Soil and Water Consrvtn Dist

The Nassau County Soil and Water Conservation District, with offices at the county complex on Old Country Road, is the coordinating agency for environmental initiatives in Nassau County. It is committed to the protection, preservation, restoration and enhancement of the county's natural resources. The Soil and Water District provides tecnical assistance and educational programs throughout the county. While the Nassau County complex is listed as its address, the S&W district occupies the historic Malcolm House at 5 Old Jericho Turnpike in Jericho.
