Barbara Mars, Neighbor

Originally residing in Queens, my husband and I headed east to Plainview in 1991 in search of our suburban dream. After a few years of railroading it to work in the big city, I opted to stay home and raise our two daughters. Writing for pay or the PTA, I have enjoyed the flexibility of freelancing while juggling two softball schedules, doctors’ appointments for my aging parents and at least two trips a week to Shop Rite (never on Sunday, please).
