Rafe Lieber has spent most of his career in government and politics on Long Island. He brings a unique and deep understanding of state and local government, the not for profit and business sector and how they are all connected. He holds a strong belief that strict partisanship is the bane of doing the people’s business.
Prior to Mr. Lieber’s current work as a political and public affairs consultant, he worked for a number of elected officials including Congressman Gary Ackerman (Special Assistant) from 2000 - 2002, Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi (Legislative Aide), from 2002 – 2004, North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman (Director of Intergovernmental Affairs) from 2004 – 2007 and New York State Senator Craig Johnson (Chief of Staff) 2007 – June 2010. Mr. Lieber also served as a Trustee of the Village of Great Neck Plaza from 2007 – 2010.
