Chamber's Craft Fair Draws Big Crowd to Library
Jacobs, JFK students, community on hand for 2nd annual fair and sale.
The Plainview-Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce's 2nd annual "Craft and Gift" fair drew a big crowd and wide participation from the community.
Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs was among those in attendance Sunday.
For the second straight year, the fair was held in the parking lot of the Plainview Library with the assistance of local sponsors, residents and the library staff.
It "lifted everyone’s spirits," Jacobs said. “The dampness could not ruin the excitement everyone felt."
